I'm pretty sure it's because it's thinking you're trying to view a "like", which isn't possible. This didn't originally happen so I would move it to bugs.

When I discovered the bug: A few days ago

Explain: When I pull open my alerts tab, and click on a notification, occasionally I will get this note:

I have been seeing it for a few days now, but I don't know how long it's been there exactly. I hadn't been on forums in a while, (couple weeks maybe) so, I'm not exactly sure when the problem began. Whenever this happens, I just click on the profile of the person I got the notification from and get to where I wanted to go from there.

There was another member of the community who did post a similar thing on 'Questions' earlier today.

He had the same thing happen to him as it did to you.

I'm now experiencing the same bug when I try to view my alerts.

It appears to be an issue with XenForo, or at least according to the error screen
