This looks like a good start to a map. I would recommend looking at the map and trying to add more detail in areas such as the islands, thinking, "What could I add here?" "Does it look too plain?" all of the questions you can think to try and make it look better

The idea is good but it really need more details. Personally, I would re-do those pipes which actually don't look very good and think of stuff that could develop more the arena. Maybe Piranha plants?
