Headphones working on one side?

Hey can someone help me, my headphones are only working on one side, I put rubbing alcohol on a ear clearer and jabbed it in my speakers; that didn't work. Then I tooth a toothpick and moved it around, and nothing.
I've watching a lot of videos but none of them helped, I just got these headphones for Christmas but if my parents find out im screwed. So please, help me ;-;

They are dead, I've had it happen dozens of times before. My best advice is to just use the ones you have for as long as possible because they still work in one ear.

If only one side is working, and you got them for christmas, you may still be with in the exchange period. The best thing to do would be to tell your parents that they are defective. They likely still have the reciept and can take you to echange them for a new pair
