I don't consider avatar an anime, i think its more of a cartoon.
But i like Attack On Titan, and Sword Art Online.

The defenition of an anime is a style of Japanese film and television animation, typically aimed at adults as well as children.
Avatar TLA was produced in america, but the actuall show was influenced by anime. but technically its not.
