First of all, you can't use this for griefing as it forces you to the closest nether portal in the overworld. Secondly, this is how nether works, and it's pretty much a vanilla mechanic. I could disable the use of nether portals in the nether but that would be extremely annoying and I don't see...- Zainos

When you delete your island all shops of the island are deleted. Nevertheless, if you don't wish to delete your island, you can always tell the player to do /clearshops. Also hidden the Occupation field from users profile since isn't really a relevant field for a Minecraft server forum anyway. Hopefully that solves the issue -
