hurricane season and hurricanes in general

has anyone been hit by a hurricane? like this summer for me has been bad thanks to rain, thunderstorms, tornado warnings, etc. right now there is a hurricane in japan so i hope everyone is ok. and one hit in florida. this may explain why i havent been on; power outages. we didnt get get a direct hit from a hurricane but we got the heavy rain from it. on friday we had wind speeds of 30mph (i think). i keep thinking i'm the only person who is getting all of this. (btw i dont live in any of these places listed so dont ask). i just hope everyone is ok

Rain is fun, I personally think it is soothing if it's not whipping around your house at 100mph like hurricanes do sometimes. I mean hurricanes are kinda not good but they happen. (Btw 30mph gust winds here in MD is daily there's always a wind; sadly it is usually a warm wind)
